ThornCreek believes in being involved in the local community! We are very intentional about this! Here are some examples of things we have done…

Feeding of the 5,000. Each year we do a giant Thanksgiving Project in South Thornton. We partner with schools and we love on them. We provide a full carnival for them (at no charge), then we send all the families home with a full Thanksgiving meal, including a turkey! In addition to this event we also do events such as:

• A food bank
• Helping Senior Citizens with the City of Thornton
• Snow Shoveling
• Tutoring at local schools
• Partnering with Life Choices Pregnancy Center
• School Supply Drives
• Christmas Wrapping Events
• Giving away gift cards to complete strangers!
• Blood drives
• Much more!

In addition to this, we planted a new church in South Thornton! The name of this church is “Hope Hacienda”. This is a church designed for people who live in South Thornton! We want to have a continual presence in the places that we love on! Please check out their website at hopehacienda.net
